Why do so many people fail in network marketing? One reason is that most new affiliates fails to properly identify who their network marketing prospects are. It really isn’t their fault, because very few network marketing companies are handing out this very small but powerful piece of information.

New affiliates are typically told that their prospects are all their friends, relatives and acquaintances. This just isn’t true. Many people do not have the disciple, drive or mindset to be an entrepreneur. Some people are just meant to be employees. That is not a bad thing. Where would we be without employees in this world?

So who are the best network marketing prospects?

You best network marketing prospects are people who are currently in a network marketing business or have been in the past and those who are truly interested in using your companies product. Most people understand that those who love your company’s products are worth presenting the business opportunity to. So, I am not going to spend much time on discussing those prospects in this piece.

Many people are surprised to hear that those people who are currently involved in another network marketing company and those who may have failed in the past at network marketing make great network marketing prospects. Let’s look at both, those people who are currently involved with another company and those who have been involved. First, we’ll look at those who have been involved in network marketing in the past.

If someone has joined a network marketing company in the past we know a few things about them. We know that they understand the concept of network marketing and that they are open to this type of business model. We also know that they had a compelling reason for joining one in the past and chances are if they failed the first time around that reason still exists.

It is true that many prospects who have failed in the past with a network marketing business will be gun shy toward starting a new one but this is not an insurmountable obstacle. We should realize that product hype alone probably will not do it for most people in this category; therefore in order for us to be successful we must sell them on either ourselves or our system. People will join your organization if they see you as a leader, who can show them the way to the promise land, or if they believe your system works and is easy to duplicate.

Now, let’s look at those prospects who are currently involved with another network marketing company.

With this group your strategy should not be to tell them that your company is better than theirs. You should instead, be their friend, ask them how it’s going and be encouraging. Position yourself as a leader. Show them you care and give the some tips that will help them build their business.

By you caring about them and trying not to steal them away from their current business, some prospects will wish they had someone like you to help them in their current company. Some will just decide to leave their company and join you. For those who don’t join your business, I encourage you to continue building your relationship with them because there is a chance they will team up with you in the future. This is how many of the top business builders in the industry are able to build huge down-lines in a matter of weeks. They think long term and build lasting friendships.

You will face far less rejection and build your business much faster if you take the time to identify those who are your best prospects and stop pestering your friends and relatives.

Where the New MLM Leaders Play - Visit Their MLM Field of Dreams

There is a new breed of MLM entrepreneurs and they are putting old school business building methods behind them. 

MLM leaders today are playing in a whole new league, it the called the Internet. It’s an international league and there are many star players.

Slowly, the old stadiums are being torn down and new ones are going up. The new stadiums have all the bells and whistles and the player’s club houses have all the tools the players needs to succeed right at their finger tips. 

It’s both sad and exciting at the same time

Oh, but the fans come out in the thousands, they visit their MLM leaders on their home fields. Today, the term field is often replaced with blog. Go figure? Fans hold up signs and shout words of encouragement to their favorite players.

Occasionally, some real kooks will show up. Some get rowdy and make a spectacle of themselves. Some even streak across stadiums tying to promote their own agenda. When that happens the security staff is usually quick to take care of them.

There are also a lot of great away parks that our leaders visit frequently such as YouTube Stadium, MySpace Yards, Twitter Memorial Coliseum and “The House that Zuckerberg Built”, Facebook Stadium.

Making the majors doesn’t come easy. These players had to work long and hard to develop their skills. They have had to master the skills of building brand identity, attraction marketing, copy writing, jv negotiations, article writing, capture page development, press releases, video production, article writing and so much more.

Players today do quite well for themselves. They generate several income streams. Many sign profit sharing contracts known in the league as affiliate agreements.

The MLM leaders have great fan clubs and they take care of their fans by sending them lots of great information. Of course, because of the size of their fan bases, they need to hire administrators to keep up with the daily fan follow-up. A couple of the best Fan Club Directors are Mr. A.Weber and Mrs. G. Response. It’s amazing how they find time to send out all those personalized emails everyday to so many fans.

The All Stars have incorporated their own names, sell their own product lines and run their own training camps. They get paid the big bucks and they deserve every penny.

This internet league is exciting and dynamic. Stars are being born every day and new stadiums are going up. They are truly playing on their field of dreams. They are having fun and watching their dreams come true.
