What is an MLM Funded Proposal and How Can it Fuel Your Business?

Jan 13
2009

Because of the MLM funded proposal many network marketers are now creating great wealth on line. Without it, many would have been out of business within a few months.

So, what is it and how does it work. Quite simply, it is selling something to your prospects that they need, whether they join your business or not, thus generating income for you.

If you’re involved in a MLM business and you’re trying to build it online, you know by now that your cost of doing business is more than the affiliate fee you paid to join the company. You have website hosting fees, web page development fees, autoresponder fees, training courses, books and educational materials, various types of phone related services, transportation expenses to attend company events and much more.

These expenses can get into the hundreds of dollars per month. Unless new affiliates are successful in generating income very quickly, these expenses will put many of them out of business within a few months. This is where the MLM funded proposal comes to the rescue.

Let’s get a little more specific on how the MLM funded proposal is integrated into an online marketing program.

Most top earning network marketers, who build their businesses online, make use of a lead capture pages and an autoresponders. There is a bit more to it than that but for the purpose of discussing the funded proposal, we will focus on these couple things.

The purpose of the lead capture page is the get prospects to opt into a mailing list. This is accomplished by offering the visitors to the page some information of value for subscribing to the list, perhaps a network marketing training program of some sort. Once the prospect opts into the mailing list, the autorepsonder kicks in. The autoresponder sends out pre-written emails to the subscribers over a set period of time.

It is in this series of scheduled emails that the network marketing business owner can recommend products that can help the MLM prospects achieve success more quickly. The sale of these products generates income for the business owner and ,in a sense, funds his marketing campaign and business expenses. The information which is sold can either be created by the MLM business owner or buy someone else who pays an affiliate commissions to those selling the products. There are many products available to network marketing business owners, where they can earn an affiliate commission.

Smart network marketers will choose their products carefully, being sure to only sell products that they believe will truly offer value to their prospects. They know if they sell junk to their prospects, that they will no longer remain prospects as it would cause them to lose their trust and confidence.

A major component to having success in network marketing is to foster long term relationships with a large number of prospects. Therefore, network marketers should always seek to provide real value to their prospects whether that value is given free or through the recommendation of a great product.

In the end, the ultimate goal is to recruit more people to join your business opportunity and thus create for you a long term residual income. Having a good MLM funded proposal program can help keep you in the game, until you can see that goal accomplished.

How to Evaluate MLM Opportunities - My Main Factor in Evaluating MLM Opportunities

Jan 13
2009

When evaluating MLM opportunities there are several factors to consider. The most obvious are the product or service, the company leadership and the compensation plan.

We all know that it important to choose a company with a great product or service, that is cutting edge and has a real story to tell. Of course, you also want a company run by someone with a winning track record and one with a fair compensation plan.

After those basic questions have been satisfied, my decision comes down to one final question.  How quickly can I establish myself as a leader in this company?

You see, success in MLM can be directly tied to a person’s ability to successfully position them self as a leader.  People are naturally attracted to people of higher value.  If your prospects see you as a leader, they will be attracted to you and sponsoring becomes easy.

So, how do I evaluate if a MLM opportunity will easily allow me to establish myself as a leader?

I ask myself one question. Can I work my way into the inner circle of the top affiliates and executives of the company?

I determine that by looking at the person who is presenting this opportunity to me and who they know.  Who is the highest up person in the company they know?  Can I get to that person? Can I get higher?

I want to know that I will be able to hob-knob with the top affiliates and executives in the company. I want all the breaking information before it breaks.  I want more than just a photo with the leaders at the national convention. I want their personal email and I want them to know me.

Besides looking at my potential sponsor and who he knows, I look at how long the company has been around.  It is usually more difficult to get to the top with an old established company.

The benefits of a twenty year old company are that you know its sound. The negatives are that the excitement may be gone and the top leadership is most likely very difficult to get in tight with. They are no longer worried about their survival and looking for that fast start.

With new start-ups it is very easy to get close to the top, even if your sponsor hasn’t attempted to do so because the founding members are looking for people who will grab those leadership mantles.

The downside is that there is definitely a higher risk factor with new start-ups. They do not have a long term success track record to insure their survival and you must be willing to deal with early customer services and technical issues.  For that reason, you must be sure to carefully check the track record of the people who started the company. Although a past record of success is not a guarantee of future success it definitely increases the odds.

Personally, I am more of a risk taker and looking for upside potential. When you evaluate MLM opportunities, you will have to consider your own comfort level when you weight the benefits against the risks.

Who Are Your Network Marketing Prospects? Your Best Network Marketing Prospects May Surprise You!

Jan 13
2009

Why do so many people fail in network marketing? One reason is that most new affiliates fails to properly identify who their network marketing prospects are. It really isn’t their fault, because very few network marketing companies are handing out this very small but powerful piece of information.

New affiliates are typically told that their prospects are all their friends, relatives and acquaintances. This just isn’t true. Many people do not have the disciple, drive or mindset to be an entrepreneur. Some people are just meant to be employees. That is not a bad thing. Where would we be without employees in this world?

So who are the best network marketing prospects?

You best network marketing prospects are people who are currently in a network marketing business or have been in the past and those who are truly interested in using your companies product. Most people understand that those who love your company’s products are worth presenting the business opportunity to. So, I am not going to spend much time on discussing those prospects in this piece.

Many people are surprised to hear that those people who are currently involved in another network marketing company and those who may have failed in the past at network marketing make great network marketing prospects. Let’s look at both, those people who are currently involved with another company and those who have been involved. First, we’ll look at those who have been involved in network marketing in the past.

If someone has joined a network marketing company in the past we know a few things about them. We know that they understand the concept of network marketing and that they are open to this type of business model. We also know that they had a compelling reason for joining one in the past and chances are if they failed the first time around that reason still exists.

It is true that many prospects who have failed in the past with a network marketing business will be gun shy toward starting a new one but this is not an insurmountable obstacle. We should realize that product hype alone probably will not do it for most people in this category; therefore in order for us to be successful we must sell them on either ourselves or our system. People will join your organization if they see you as a leader, who can show them the way to the promise land, or if they believe your system works and is easy to duplicate.

Now, let’s look at those prospects who are currently involved with another network marketing company.

With this group your strategy should not be to tell them that your company is better than theirs. You should instead, be their friend, ask them how it’s going and be encouraging. Position yourself as a leader. Show them you care and give the some tips that will help them build their business.

By you caring about them and trying not to steal them away from their current business, some prospects will wish they had someone like you to help them in their current company. Some will just decide to leave their company and join you. For those who don’t join your business, I encourage you to continue building your relationship with them because there is a chance they will team up with you in the future. This is how many of the top business builders in the industry are able to build huge down-lines in a matter of weeks. They think long term and build lasting friendships.

You will face far less rejection and build your business much faster if you take the time to identify those who are your best prospects and stop pestering your friends and relatives.

Network Marketing Recruiting Made Simple - Be a Power House Network Marketing Recruiter

Jan 12
2009

If you’re having problems recruiting new affiliates to your network marketing business, take heart, it’s not that hard. It’s actually simple if you know how.

Network Marketing Recruiting success comes down to two things, Mindset and Marketing. Mindset has to do with taking on the posture of someone who is already successful in network marketing. You need to think like a millionaire. You not only need the millionaires mindset but you also need to position yourself as a leader. Network Marketing Recruiting, then becomes easy because people will be attracted to you.

The works because of the law of attraction. Perhaps, you’ve heard of attraction marketing? Well, the main core of this very successful marketing approach is that people are naturally attracted to people of higher value. So, by positioning yourself as a leader, people will be attracted to you and recruiting prospects to your network marketing business becomes simple.

I should say, network marketing recruiting becomes simple only if you’re presenting your opportunity to enough quality prospects. What good is being able to close the deal if a customer never walks through the door? Finding quality prospect is why you need to know how to market. There are many marketing approaches but, today, the trend is definitely towards the internet. More specifically, many people are finding tremendous success recruiting new affiliates to their network marketing businesses by taking advantage of the latest trends in social networking.

Savvy network marketers have found that sites like YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and many others need to be integrated into their overall marketing strategy. There is, although, an important point that needs to be noted about using social networking to recruit prospects to a network marketing opportunity. Social networking sites are not for selling. That is called spamming!

So, how then do you use these sites to build your business? You make friends. Make lots of friends! After you make friends with people, you can let them know you have a blog and they can stop by if they are interested. Your blog should also be a place of value and building friendships but it is acceptable to let your visitors know you can provide them with additional information about what you are doing in business if they are interested.

Using social networking  sites for the purpose of network marketing recruiting is walking a fine line. Basically, you can’t shove you opportunity in their face. If they didn’t ask to see it, don’t show it to them. If a friend wants to know what you do for a living, share it with them.

If you are desperate to recruit a prospect to your network marketing company, he or she will sense that and they back away from you. If you come across as confident, and they see you as a real leader, they will be attracted to you and want to know more.

You mindset must be with you at all time whether you are talking with a prospect on the phone, face to face or on a social networking site. You must be a leader all the time. Inject that winning mindset into a good online marketing strategy, which incorporates the latest trends and you’re on your way to success because network marketing recruiting becomes simple.

Where the New MLM Leaders Play - Visit Their MLM Field of Dreams

Jan 05
2009

There is a new breed of MLM entrepreneurs and they are putting old school business building methods behind them.

MLM leaders today are playing in a whole new league, it the called the Internet. It’s an international league and there are many star players.

Slowly, the old stadiums are being torn down and new ones are going up. The new stadiums have all the bells and whistles and the player’s club houses have all the tools the players needs to succeed right at their finger tips.

It’s both sad and exciting at the same time

Oh, but the fans come out in the thousands, they visit their MLM leaders on their home fields. Today, the term field is often replaced with blog. Go figure? Fans hold up signs and shout words of encouragement to their favorite players.

Occasionally, some real kooks will show up. Some get rowdy and make a spectacle of themselves. Some even streak across stadiums tying to promote their own agenda. When that happens the security staff is usually quick to take care of them.

There are also a lot of great away parks that our leaders visit frequently such as YouTube Stadium, MySpace Yards, Twitter Memorial Coliseum and “The House that Zuckerberg Built”, Facebook Stadium.

Making the majors doesn’t come easy. These players had to work long and hard to develop their skills. They have had to master the skills of building brand identity, attraction marketing, copy writing, jv negotiations, article writing, capture page development, press releases, video production, article writing and so much more.

Players today do quite well for themselves. They generate several income streams. Many sign profit sharing contracts known in the league as affiliate agreements.

The MLM leaders have great fan clubs and they take care of their fans by sending them lots of great information. Of course, because of the size of their fan bases, they need to hire administrators to keep up with the daily fan follow-up. A couple of the best Fan Club Directors are Mr. A.Weber and Mrs. G. Response. It’s amazing how they find time to send out all those personalized emails everyday to so many fans.

The All Stars have incorporated their own names, sell their own product lines and run their own training camps. They get paid the big bucks and they deserve every penny.

This internet league is exciting and dynamic. Stars are being born every day and new stadiums are going up. They are truly playing on their field of dreams. They are having fun and watching their dreams come true.

A Poem by an Anonymous Civil War Soldier

Jan 01
2009

I ask God for strenght that I might achieve; I was made weak that I might learn humbly to Obey.

I asked for help that I might do great things;  I was give infirmity that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy; I was given poverty that I might be wise.

I asked for power that I might have the praise of men; I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.

I ask for all things that I might enjoy life; I was given life that I might enjoy all things.

I got nothing I asked for but everything I hoped for.

Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered.

I among all men am most richly blessed.
